BIO
Education: I have a degree in criminal justice from Bowling Green State University. I have a Master of Divinity and Master of Counseling and Addiction Ministries degree from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio.
Occupation/employment background: I am currently working as a substitute teacher for Delaware City, Buckeye Valley, and Big Walnut school districts.
Personal information: I am a local business owner, community activist, and faith based community leader. I have been a resident of the City of Delaware for twenty years.
Reason for candidacy:
Mr. Butler is running for Delaware City Council At-Large for the following reasons:
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
• Increase mental health services
• Affordable housing
• Eliminate food insecurity
• Strengthen and Create community partnerships with Delaware performing arts organizations.
• A stronger voice for the marginalized in the Delaware community.
